Sunday: RIJEKA
Very near Pula is Rijeka, the biggest Croatian harbour, situated
on the other side of the bay. It is a city of the carnival,
the merry hustle of the Korzo promenade and the "Croatian
Nazareth"– Trsat. |
| Day 3 |
Monday: PULA
The most stunning towns of the Istra region which also occupy
the very top of Croatian and European cultural heritage are
situated on the west shore of Istrian peninsula: Pula â-
with its famed Ancient sites such as the impressive Roman amphitheatre,
the Temple of Augustus, the Golden Gate (Porta aurea), the Triumphal
Arch of the Sergii…

| Day 4 |
Tuesday: ZADAR
Once a dominant city on the Adriatic coast and rival of Venise,
Zadar is nowdays a “city-treasuryâ€,
preserving in its historical core the remains of the Roman Forum,
the Church of St. Donat, the Romanesque Cathedral of St Anastasia,
the Church of St. Mary, the Benedictine Convent and a permanent
collection of church art known as “The Gold
and Silver of Zadarâ€. Numerous and rich cultural
and artistic programs are also organised. They include the traditional
Music Evenings in St. Donat, New Theatre Performances, Zadar Theatre
Summer, as well as various visual arts exhibitions. The city celebrate
the holiday of St. Kresevan, which is, as the same time, the day
of Zadar (24 th of November). |

Wednesday: SPLIT (morning)
Split , the second largest city in Croatia and “the
capital of Dalmatia†had gradually developed
around the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian, built more
than 1700 years ago. From Diocletian's cellars, Cathedral of the
Temple of Jupiter to the Golden Gate (Porta aurea), across the
Peristyle and the Market (Pjaca) to the sunny sea promenade (Riva)
and futher up the Marmont street, past the fish-market and all
the way to the Theatre: morning in Split brings you atmosphere
of a typical Mediterranean city. |

Wednesday: KORCULA (afternoon)
A historical town of Korcula is known as the birthplace of a famous
Marco Polo. The town will fascinate you with the beautiful historical
core, narrow stone streets, museums and churches. Korcula is the
town of a long-cherished cultural heritage and one of the most
visited destinations on the Adriatic coast. It is famous for the
unique and exciting traditional dances “moreskaâ€
and “kumpanijaâ€.

| Day 6 |
Thursday: DUBROVNIK
City-monument, the most beautiful and the most famous Croatian
city. O nce a famous Dubrovnik Republic, the city was a powerful
rival of Venise in the fight over sea rule. Today it still continues
to rival Venise with its beauty and charming atmosphere. It would
be really hard to single out the most fascinating piece of architecture.
The Franciscan and the Dominican Monastery, The Cathedral, the
Rector's Palace, Stradun, grand City walls and St. Blaise's Church,
each of these impressive buildings deserves attention and admiration.

| Day 7 |
Friday: KOTOR ( Montenegro)
Early morning entering to Montengro you will discover by sailing
the magnificence of Kotor Fjord which is the only fljord in Mediterranean
see, the stunning “Boka Kotorskaâ€.
Despite all misfortunes, Kotor has preserved the atmosphere of
the medieval Mediterranean town. The town is encircled with 20
m high walls that are 2- 15 m thick and 4.5 km long. One stem
of the wall begins at the harbour, i.e. at the South gate, and
the other at the River Skurda â- West Gate. They both end
at the fort of Saint Ivan. The Fort rises above the town and reaches
the height of over 250m. There are 1426 stairs leading to the
Tower. |
| Day 8 |
Saturday: PLOCE
Ploce is a commercial port located in central Dalmatia. From Ploce,
we will provide an optional tour to the famous old city of Mostar
(Bosna Hercegovina) where you will see the reconstructed “old
bridge†built by the Turc occupants for 500
years ago |
| Day 9 |
Sunday: RIJEKA
Arriving in Rijeka in the morning. Disembarkment after breakfast.
